Kurt Suzuki belted a three-run homer, powering the Nationals to a 9-2 victory over the Cubs on Thursday.

Suzuki finished the evening 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI. His bomb off Justin Germano in the second inning put the Nationals on top 4-2, a lead that they wouldn't relinquish. He's been swinging a quality stick since being traded to the Nationals, hitting .266 (21-for-79) with three homers and 13 RBI over his first 22 games.
