Kennedy told manager Ned Yost that his strained right hamstring is improving, but no timetable has been set for his return, ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Before landing on the 10-day DL, the right-hander worked his way to an impressive 3.03 ERA and 1.07 WHIP while notching 31 strikeouts over 35.2 innings. The only reason Kennedy's record stands at 0-3 is because the offense provided him MLB's worst run support through his six starts. As it stands, Kennedy has a lot of work to if he plans to return by May 15, the date he's eligible to be activated.
