Kendrick is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old will head to the bench following four straight starts -- two at third base, one in left field and one at second base. With Carl Crawford returning Tuesday and Justin Turner healthy, Kendrick figures to see most of his time at the keystone in the immediately future, but manager Dave Roberts may be inclined to continue riding the hot hand of Chase Utley in the days ahead with several right-handers due up for the opposition. Kendrick is 7-for-44 with zero extra-base hits since his return from the DL.
