Joe Mauer went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in Monday's loss to the Red Sox. Mauer also grounded into an inning-ending double play in the bottom of the first and had a rough day behind the plate working with an erratic Jason Marquis. Of course, the good news is that the 28-year-old backstop is feeling healthy this spring. Phil Mackey of 1500ESPN.com reports that Mauer is slated to play first base Wednesday, with Justin Morneau serving as the designated hitter.
