Joe Mauer (leg, pneumonia) has been throwing and hitting off of a tee for the last few weeks. Mauer was limited to just 82 games last season for a variety of health reasons, but has essentially declared himself completely recovered after reportedly getting back to his listed weight of 235 pounds this offseason. According to Mason, Mauer claims it has been "night and day" compared to how he felt at this time last year.
