Joe Mauer has gained 30 pounds since the end of last season. Mauer was limited to just 82 games last season due to various maladies and was shut down early due to a bout with pneumonia, so he essentially gained back the weight he lost. He currently checks in at 235 pounds, which is right where he should be. Those in mixed leagues will have to weigh the obvious health risk with the potential reward on draft day.
