Milwaukee Brewers reliever Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday afternoon. Jeffress would have been the favorite for the closer role with Corey Knebel (elbow) sidelined, but he is not expected to be back until mid-April. Jeffress threw a bullpen session without any issue on Thursday and is scheduled to throw off of a mound on Saturday.
