Jarrod Parker delivered a strong effort against the White Sox on Friday, surrendering two runs on three hits over his six frames.

Parker whiffed five and walked two on the evening. It was nice to see him get back on track, as even with the solid outing he's still the owner of a 7.20 ERA and 1.53 WHIP over 15 innings on the spring. He'll open the season as the number two starter for Oakland behind Brett Anderson, and will be looking to build upon a very impressive rookie campaign.
