Jackson (knee) will miss the remainder of the season, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson had surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee in June, and though the initial expectation was that he'd be able to return after about four weeks off, the recovery has gone slower than expected. He'll now shut it down for the remainder of the year after appearing in just 54 games in his lone season with the White Sox, and will hit free agency once again in the upcoming offseason.
