Hudson (ankle) will throw off a mound Wednesday, CSN Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic reports. Hudson had bone spurs removed from his right ankle in January, and after briefly considering retirement, the veteran right-hander expects to be ready for Opening Day. Assuming his health continues to move in the right direction, Hudson figures to open the season as San Francisco's third or fourth starter.
