Hammel will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring Thursday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports. Hammel left Wednesday's game with tightness in his left hamstring after just one inning. He needed just 12 pitched to retire the Cardinals. Hammel should have through the All-Star break to recover.
