Gavin Floyd dominated the Indians in Wednesday's 9-0, season-ending win, scattering just three hits across seven scoreless frames. Floyd fanned six and walked two. It was an embarrassing end for an Indians team that folded up shot in mid-summer, and promising finish for a White Sox club that majorly overachieved. As for Floyd, he was typically inconsistent, posting a 4.29 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 144/63 K/BB ratio across 168 innings. He turned in 13 quality starts, but was also roughed up for five or more runs eight times. The White Sox must now decide whether they want to exercise Floyd's $9.5 million 2013 club option. They most likely will.
