The 27-year-old righty is 3-1 over his last eight outings with a 2.42 ERA. Sunday marked his first time completing at least six innings since Aug. 25 and he lowered his season ERA to 3.58 through 173.2 frames. Giolito is lined up to face Detroit at home next weekend, although the White Sox could always reshuffle their rotation ahead of the postseason.
