Duda was held out of Monday's lineup against the Padres due to a stiff right knee, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Duda incurred the injury when he took a pitch off the knee during Sunday's series finale against the Marlins. He's being listed as day-to-day for the time being, which will allow Michael Cuddyer to pick up a rare start at first base rather than left field. The Mets are hopeful a day out of the lineup will afford Duda enough time to recover from the injury.
