Duda, out since May 20 with a stress fracture in his lower back, began light baseball activities Monday in Florida.

Duda was able to run and play catch Monday and the hope is that he will be able to incrementally increase his activity. If all goes well, Duda could begin a Minor League rehab assignment by early August, that will depend on how well his back reacts to the increased activity.
