Duda (intercostal strain) went 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in his first game action of the spring Saturday, ESPN New York reports. Duda had been sidelined with the injury since early in spring training but finally healed enough to get into a game as the designated hitter. He is being eased back into action, as he will play Sunday at first base, sit Monday, play Tuesday and then sit Wednesday. Following that stretch, he will play daily and also face left-handed minor-league pitchers, as the Mets see if he can make strides against southpaws like he did against righties last season.
