Duda (hamstring) will bat seventh in the order and man first base in Monday's game against the Braves, David Lennon of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda missed some time late in the spring with the sore hamstring, but it won't prevent him from taking the field for Opening Day. A back injury torpedoed Duda's 2016 campaign, but with his health seemingly on sturdy ground entering the upcoming season, he could be an intriguing bounce-back candidate, albeit one that comes with substantial risk in the batting average department. A healthy Duda should at least be a reliable power bat for the Mets after he smacked a combined 57 homers in 2014 and 2015.
