Duda blasted two home runs and drove in a career-high five runs in the Mets' win over the Dodgers on Sunday. The two long balls gives Duda five home runs in his last six games. He is up to 26 home runs and 76 runs batted in for the year; remarkable numbers for someone who didn't open the season as the Mets' starter at first base. The next step in his development will be for him to show he can hit lefties. If he is able to show some proficiency against southpaws, Duda would start almost every day at first base.
