Duda won't make it to Washington soon enough to join the lineup, but he will be there in time to offer another bat off the bench if needed later in Monday's game. Given the Mets' current depth, it's a bit unclear how the playing time will work out at first base when Duda rejoins the lineup. However, it seems possible that the club will platoon him with Michael Cuddyer, with Duda garnering most of the starts against righties.
