Cuddyer (knee) will return to the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Cuddyer's knee has been giving him problems recently, causing him to miss both Tuesday and Wednesday's contests. However, he will rejoin the lineup Friday, batting sixth for the Mets and playing in his normal left field spot.
