Cuddyer (knee) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against the Giants, and he will undergo another exam on his knee Friday, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports. Cuddyer's knee has been "acting up" recently according to manager Terry Collins, and Wednesday will mark his second straight absence from the lineup. The veteran outfielder has battled the issue over the past couple weeks, but he's managed to avoid the disabled list. He'll receive another examination on the knee Friday, which should determine whether or not there's something more underlying that could send him to the DL.
