Cuddyer (knee) is back in the starting lineup Sunday, batting fifth and starting in left field, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Cuddyer entered Saturday's game and went hitless in two at-bats, so his return to the starting lineup couldn't have been too far off. It's been a revolving door in left field while Cuddyer had been dealing with knee soreness, but the Mets will now look to the 36-year-old veteran to bring stability to the position.
