Carrasco tossed 6.2 strong innings against the White Sox on Thursday, giving up just one run and four hits while striking out seven batters. Carrasco was in control for most of his outing, recording four 1-2-3 innings. He has performed well since returning to the rotation, allowing just two runs, with a fantastic 24:3 K:BB ratio in his last 24.2 innings. He's probably earned a spot for the rest of the season, and he'll toe the rubber against Detroit at home in his next start.
