After the game, the Indians said that Carrasco would remain in the rotation for the time being. Carrasco needed Justin Masterson to get dealt, and for Zach McAllister and Josh Tomlin to fall apart to earn this shot, but the Indians also said that they've still wanted him to be a starter if possible.
