EDGE Analysis
That's now six starts where Bumgarner posted a quality start but took the loss. There are also six other quality starts where he received a no-decision. That explains why he is only 14-9 with a 2.66 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 231 strikeouts in 206.1 innings. Bumgarner will look to turnaround his fortune in his next start Monday against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers.
