Brett Anderson (elbow) will throw a three-inning simulated game in Arizona on Monday. He's thrown a few bullpen sessions over the past week and a half, and this is the next logical step in his rehabilitation. If all goes well in the simulated game, he could be cleared to begin a lengthy minor league rehab assignment. Anderson is shooting to return to the Athletics rotation at some point in August.
