Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star writes that Jonathan Sanchez is currently battling biceps tendinitis. Sanchez surrendered six runs over three innings against the Red Sox in his most recent start on Monday and now has a 6.75 ERA on the year. Dutton speculates that he could be placed on the disabled list when Johnny Giavotella is added to the active roster. Luis Mendoza would likely move back to the starting rotation in that case.
