Blue Jays purchased the contract of RHP Jeremy Jeffress from Triple-A Buffalo. Jeffress was designated for assignment shortly after the beginning of the season, but he's earned his way back by posting a 1.65 ERA while striking out a batter per inning at Triple-A. He'll work the middle innings.
