Athletics manager Bob Melvin has ruled Coco Crisp (neck) out through Friday. Crisp will receive treatment on his ailing neck when the A's return home Friday and will not play that night. It's totally up in the air at this point as to when he'll rejoin the lineup, but Oakland is optimistic that he'll avoid a stint on the disabled list.
