Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reports that there have been "no discussions" between Major League Baseball and the MLBPA regarding the Mets' draft pick issue.

The Mets think they should be able to keep the No. 11 pick if they sign Michael Bourn since they had the 10th-worst record in 2012, but it is the MLBPA, not the Mets, that would have to file a grievance. Jim Bowden of ESPN.com reported last week that the Mets believe their pick will be protected if there is a hearing before an arbitrator regarding the issue.
