Anderson (1-0) threw five scoreless innings, surrendering four hits and striking out five in Friday's 6-4 victory over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Although he'll normally slot fifth in the Brewers rotation, Anderson got the call as the fourth starter Friday and acquitted himself quite well in his Milwaukee debut. He demonstrated his typically sharp control, throwing 53 of 85 pitches for strikes and securing first-pitch strikes on 10 of the 18 hitters he faced. The 27-year-old showed some stamina in hurling 152.2 innings for the Diamondbacks in 2015 and could serve as a valuable back-end piece of the Brewers rotation in 2016.
