Allen Craig (knee) could be ready to begin a rehab assignment by the end of next week. Craig has started taking at-bats in extended spring training and is expected to start playing the field by next Tuesday. If that goes well, he'll then likely head to Triple-A Memphis a few days after that. Assuming he progresses as scheduled, a return in early May is likely.
