Allen Craig is not in the Cardinals' lineup Wednesday due to soreness in his chest. Craig originally hurt himself back in July in a series against the Reds and woke up Wednesday morning with discomfort in his chest. However, the good news is that X-rays came back negative, and it's officially being diagnosed as a bone bruise. He could be available to pinch-hit Wednesday and is expected back in the lineup Thursday. Matt Carpenter is starting at first base in his place Wednesday.
