After it was reported the Blue Jays were considering converting Jeremy Jeffress to a starter, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports hears they're going to keep him in a relief role. It was Passan who reported the Jays were thinking about making Jeffress a starter back in November, but they've since changed their minds. The 26-year-old showed why in a September stint with the club last season, posting an 0.87 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 10 1/3 innings as a reliever. The right-hander will have to earn a spot in the Jays' bullpen this spring.
