Aaron Cook held the Mariners to two runs on seven hits and three walks in six innings of Wednesday's loss.

Cook also punched out a season-high five after entering this evening with an unfathomably bad 11 strikeouts through 70 2/3 innings. We're guessing he won't fare quite as well against the Yankees in Boston next Wednesday. Now 3-9 with a 5.17 ERA, Cook will be a free agent at season's end.
