Kendrick (calf) will begin the season on the DL, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick has been slow to recover from a calf injury sustained in late March, so he'll miss at least the first week of the season. Chase Utley should be next up at second base, but the position might also be one of the spots where Enrique Hernandez gets one of his starts.

Kendrick (calf) still has not been cleared to resume baseball activities, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
There was some hope that Kendrick would be able to play on the minor league side Thursday, but that seems unlikely with the 32-year-old still awaiting clearance to ramp up his activity. Opening Day is looking unlikely for Kendrick as well, though the team would be able to backdate a DL stint if necessary. Manager Dave Roberts mentioned Chase Utley as an option to play second base and lead off in the regular season opener.

Manager Dave Roberts said Kendrick will remain "in the treatment phase" of his recovery from a tight calf Monday and Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Initially sidelined Friday as a result of the injury, Kendrick doesn't appear close to game action, though there is some hope that he'll make an appearance in a minor league contest Thursday. If he does so, he could improve his odds of joining the Opening Day lineup next Monday in San Diego. Caution may rule the day, though, meaning a stay on the disabled list is a distinct possibility.

Kendrick (calf) is at risk of starting the season on the DL, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick will stay back in Arizona in hopes of playing in a minor league game on Thursday. It appears the Dodgers will hold off on making a concrete decision with their second baseman until next weekend, although Kendrick could help his case by displaying mobility in a minor league contest. If he's unavailable to start the season, look for Enrique Hernandez (who was cleared to play Sunday) or Chase Utley to see extra reps at second base early on.

Kendrick will be out a "few days" with a calf injury according to manager Dave Roberts, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
At this point Kendrick appears good to go for Opening Day, but continue to monitor his progress over the next few days.

Kendrick has been scratched from Friday's lineup with calf tightness, Alanna Rizzo of SportsNet LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick dealt with groin pain last week and is now dealing with this leg injury. At 33 years old, the Dodgers definitely aren't going to push Kendrick with even a minor injury during spring training. This one doesn't appear to be serious, however, so consider him day-to-day for now.

Kendrick (groin) returned to second base and homered in Friday's win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
The groin issue kept Kendrick off the field for 10 days, but he took a big step forward Friday, playing four innings at the keystone. His home run was an absolute blast to dead center field off right-hander Zack Godley. Kendrick's not completely out of the woods yet, but he appears on track for Opening Day.

Kendrick (groin) is scheduled to return to the field for Friday's spring game, Sportsnet LA's Alanna Rizzo reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick returned to the lineup as a DH on Tuesday and will now resume his usual role at second base. He only missed a few games.

Kendrick (groin) will play in Tuesday's Cactus League game as a designated hitter, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick is dealing with a minor groin injury, but he should return to the field by the end of the week, assuming he doesn't have any setbacks Tuesday as a designated hitter. He figures to have plenty of time to prepare for Opening Day.

Kendrick (groin) will not play in Cactus League games until next week, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it will still be a few days until Kendrick resumes playing in official spring training games, he is making progress in his recovery, and will see some at-bats against live pitching over the next couple days. Barring any setbacks he should have ample time to get back up to speed by Opening Day.
