Kendrick is out of the lineup for Thursday's series finale against St. Louis, Stephen Gross of The Morning Call reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the first game Kendrick has spent out of the lineup since June 8 as he earns a breather for the matinee start Thursday. In the first two games of this series, Kendrick has gone 6-for-9 with two runs but will take a seat in favor of Andres Blanco, who is filling in at second while batting seventh.

Kendrick went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-1 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
It's his third straight multi-hit performance, and Kendrick is now hitting .344 (22-for-64) in June with a homer, five steals, six RBI and six runs in 16 games. The veteran will eventually cool down -- he came into Tuesday's game with a sky-high .410 BABIP on the season -- but if he's able to continue running as he has been this month, Kendrick will retain some fantasy value even if his batting average plummets.

Kendrick is expected to take over at second base if Cesar Hernandez hits the disabled list with an oblique injury, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick has been seeing fairly regular playing time in left field since returning from his own oblique injury. If he shifts to second base, that will open up additional playing time in the outfield for Michael Saunders and Daniel Nava. The Phillies are expected to make a decision regarding a DL stint for Hernandez on Sunday.

Kendrick is not in the lineup Thursday against the Braves, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
With righty R.A. Dickey heading to the mound for the Braves, Kendrick will take a seat in favor of Aaron Altherr for Thursday's series finale. The 33-year-old is hitting .533 against southpaws compared to .278 against righties this season, so he should see playing time against lefties at the very least.

Kendrick is out of the lineup Monday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick had started in left field in each of the Phillies' six games since he was activated from the disabled list, going 7-for-23 (.304 average) with a home run and stolen base. While he'll get an opportunity to rest Monday, Kendrick should find a route to at least semi-frequent starts while he continues to produce effectively. At the very least, Kendrick should find himself in the lineup against southpaws, since the lefty-hitting Michael Saunders struggles against them.

Kendrick went 1-for-4 with his first homer of the year in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After going 1-for-4 with a steal in his return from the DL, Kendrick's now flashed some pop; just don't confuse him for a major asset in either department. What you should get out of him, though, is batting average; prior to last season, Kendrick had hit between .285 and .297 for five consecutive campaigns, and he sports a .319 mark in limited action this year.

Kendrick (oblique) was activated from the disabled list Monday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports. He'll start in left field and bat second.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Kendrick was activated ahead of Monday's series opener against the Marlins after missing over a month with an oblique strain. With the Phillies in serious need of some offensive production, manager Pete Mackanin will wast no time inserting Kendrick back into the lineup. He should find himself in the lineup more often than not if he's able to hit.

Kendrick (oblique) will be activated from the disabled list on Monday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Pete Mackanin said he will bring Kendrick along slowly to make sure he is healthy. The veteran has been sidelined since mid April with an oblique strain. Kendrick will likely see most of his action in left field and third base. If he hits, he'll find himself in the lineup more often than not as Mackanin is searching for offense on his struggling squad.

Kendrick (oblique) is expected to appear in four games during his rehab stint with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, which begins Wednesday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Pete Mackanin said that Kendrick will see reps at left field, first base and third base during the rehab stint before he's likely activated from the 10-day disabled list early next week. Kendrick had seen most of his action in left field prior to suffering the oblique injury, but with Aaron Altherr having since solidified himself as a mainstay at that position, the 33-year-old may end up seeing most of his duties in the infield upon rejoining the Phillies.

Kendrick (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick has been taking swings over the past couple weeks as he slowly works his way back to regular baseball activities and finally appears ready for a return to game action. The 33-year-old has been out since mid-April with the injury and has only played in 10 games this season, so expect a bit of rust as he comes back. Kendrick will likely assume a super-utility role upon his return to the lineup.
