Perez went 4-for-9 over two games of the Brewers' doubleheader with the Cardinals on Tuesday and raised his batting average to .278 in the process.

EDGE Analysis

Perez was hitting .265 as recently as May 28, but 18 hits -- including four home runs -- in 15 games since has his ratios moving in a positive direction again. He still does not have a regular spot in the Brewers' defensive alignment, but since Ryan Braun (calf) landed on the DL a second time May 26, Perez has been in the lineup for all but four games.

Perez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

EDGE Analysis

Perez will continue to hold down a full-time role for as long as Ryan Braun (calf) remains out, but he'll get a breather Sunday after going 1-for-10 with five strikeouts in the first two games of the series. Eric Thames will replace Perez in the outfield, opening up a spot a first base for Jesus Aguilar.

Perez went 3-for-4 with an RBI during Thursday's win over the Mets.

EDGE Analysis

Perez finished the three-game series 6-for-12 at the dish with a run and three RBI. He continues to play all over the diamond and sports a serviceable .277/.313/.464 slash line with five home runs, 23 RBI and 21 runs. That positional versatility is a nice bonus to his fantasy stock, too.

Perez will start in right field and bat fifth Sunday against the Cubs.

EDGE Analysis

Perez has been able to enjoy regular starts for much of May with Ryan Braun (calf, forearm) spending time on the disabled list, but he'll likely have to jockey with Domingo Santana for playing time in right field after Braun was activated Sunday. Though Santana opened the season as the Brewers' primary right-field option, Perez has nearly been his equal with a .272 average, five homers and 18 RBI across 125 at-bats. Manager Craig Counsell may ultimately decide to just ride the hot bat between the two players in most games.

Perez went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 7-4 win over the Mets.

EDGE Analysis

With Ryan Braun (calf/forearm) landing on the DL, Perez slipped into the lineup in left field and hit third in the order and provided a remarkable Braun impression at the plate. Perez continues to build on last year's breakout, slashing .281/.333/.542 with five homers and 16 RBI through 30 games, although the 26-year-old's two steals in three attempts are something of a disappointment.

Perez's playing time should increase while Ryan Braun (calf) is on the 10-day disabled list, Andrew Gruman of My Community Now reports.

EDGE Analysis

Perez, who stole 34 bases last year, will have more chances to showcase his potential and budding extra-base pop (four home runs and a .500 SLG in 92 at-bats already) as a starter. He'll piece together at-bats around the field but especially in left. Deep-mixed players who already haven't found his utility work valuable now have a concrete reason to add him. He's eligible at third base and outfield in most games, with shortstop and second base also likely in many others.

Perez is batting third and playing left field Thursday against the Red Sox.

EDGE Analysis

The utility player carves out a few starts per week all around the field, and he's helping give Ryan Braun (calf) a breather Thursday. The speedy Perez's high place in the lineup makes him a sneaky DFS play against Boston southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez.

Perez went 3-for-3 with a walk, two triples, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 9-1 rout of the Reds.

EDGE Analysis

The 26-year-old has nearly doubled his SLG over the last two games, banging out five extra-base hits (a double, two triples and two homers) in seven at-bats with seven RBI and four runs. Perez even found time to steal his first base of the season during that barrage, and is now slashing .261/.346/.609 through 17 games.

Perez went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base in Monday's victory over the Reds.

EDGE Analysis

Perez had been extremely quiet this season prior to Monday, but he took advantage of a starting opportunity -- just his 10th start so far in 2017 -- and had his best game of the season. Perez sits with a .711 OPS -- not far off the .730 mark he finished 2016 with -- but he is finding regular playing time hard to come by in his super-utility role.

Perez went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI during Saturday's loss to Cincinnati.

EDGE Analysis

Perez flashed cross-category potential with 50 runs, 13 home runs, 56 RBI, 34 stolen bases and a .272 batting average over just 430 plate appearances last year. However, it's been a slow start to 2017, and Saturday's outing was his first multi-hit showing of the campaign. Even after the big day at the dish, Perez still sports an underwhelming .200/.226/.367 slash line.
