Salas was designated for assignment Sunday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Salas was added to the 40-man roster Thursday but his time in Philadelphia was short-lived. He made two appearances in his most recent stint with the club, allowing one earned run and five hits across 1.2 innings of work.

The Phillies selected Salas' contract from Triple-A Lehigh Valley ahead of Thursday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Philadelphia already had an existing opening on the 40-man roster, so no corresponding transaction was needed to clear room for Salas. He and Cole Irvin will report to the Philadelphia bullpen, offering the big club a pair of fresh arms after five relievers were needed to cover the final 6.2 innings of Wednesday's 7-2 loss. Two of those relievers -- Austin Davis and Edgar Garcia -- were sent down to Triple-A to open up spots on the active roster for Salas and Irvin.

The Phillies outrighted Salas to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, the well-traveled reliever went unclaimed off waivers after being designated for assignment earlier in the weekend. He'll stick around in the organization as bullpen depth at Triple-A.

Salas was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Salas had his contract selected by the Phillies on Monday and gave up one run on three hits during his lone appearance. The move was made to make room on the 40-man roster for the return of Tommy Hunter (elbow) from the 60-day injured list.

Salas' contract was selected by the Phillies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Salas has nine big-league innings under his belt, posting a career 3.90 ERA. He hasn't recorded an ERA below 4.50 since 2017, however. The 34-year-old opened the season in the Mexican league before joining the Phillies on a minor-league deal. Enyel De Los Santos was optioned to clear a spot on the 25-man roster, while Andrew McCutchen (knee) was transferred to the 60-day injured list to clear a spot on the 40-man.

Salas was released by Atlanta on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Salas inked a minor-league deal with the Braves on July 16, but he lasted less than a month with his new team. He allowed eight runs on 14 hits while striking out nine across six innings out of the bullpen at Triple-A Gwinnett.

Salas signed a minor-league contract with the Braves on Monday and was assigned to Triple-A Gwinnett.
EDGE Analysis
Salas had been with Arizona all season, posting a mediocre 4.50 ERA in 40 innings, but was released Monday. He'll have a chance to work his was back to the big leagues with the Braves, though he'll likely be in a low-leverage role if and when he makes it.

The Diamondbacks released Salas on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
After being designated for assignment over the weekend, Salas passed through waivers unclaimed, but the Diamondbacks apparently had no interest in stashing him in the minors. Salas is now a free agent and will likely look for an opportunity with a team that can present him with the easiest path back to the big leagues.

Salas was designated for assignment on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Randall Delgado (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day disabled list, so the Diamondbacks needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster, and Salas was the casualty. He had a 4.50 ERA and just 30 strikeouts in 40 innings out of the big-league bullpen.

Salas gave up a run on two hits and a walk over one inning of relief in Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Salas has been a part of eight decisions out of the bullpen this season and has notched four wins, but beyond that, he's not offering much from a fantasy perspective. His 6.8 K/9 is decidedly below average for a reliever, and his 3.72 ERA and 1.27 WHIP aren't nearly good enough to move the needle much, even in NL-only formats. He'll continue to see most of his appearances for the Diamondbacks in middle relief or mop-up situations.
