Ramirez allowed five runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out two batters in five innings Wednesday against the A's. He didn't factor into the decision.

EDGE Analysis

Coming off his best start of the season -- an eight-inning gem in which he struck out a career-high 10 and allowed just three hits and one run -- this wasn't the follow-up outing Ramirez was hoping for. The A's chipped away at him with runs in the first and third innings before an error contributed to a three-run fourth inning. Ramirez still owns a respectable 3.92 ERA through 10 starts with the Mariners and has pushed himself into the starting rotation picture for 2018. It might be tough for him to win a rotation spot if Seattle's staff is healthy, however, so he may ultimately end up returning the bullpen as a long reliever.

Ramirez gave up only one run on three hits over eight innings Friday while striking out a season-high 10 but had to settle for a no-decision in a 3-1 win over Cleveland.

EDGE Analysis

A Nelson Cruz walk-off shot ended up settling the contest, but it came too late to give Ramirez a much-deserved win. He'll take a 4.35 ERA into his final start of the season Wednesday in Oakland.

Ramirez (5-6) allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out five across four innings to take the loss Saturday against the Astros.

EDGE Analysis

Ramirez was rocked for four runs in the second inning, leading to his sixth loss of the season. This was the first time in four outings that he's allowed more than two runs, and despite his lack of victories, he'll be a solid option down the stretch run. He'll make his next start Friday against the Indians.

Ramirez gave up two runs on five hits -- including two home runs -- over 6.2 innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Sunday. He did not issue a walk.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander gave up a solo homer to Mike Trout and another to Luis Valbuena in the seventh, but Ramirez was solid in between, allowing just two hits in innings two through six. Ramirez has rattled off six straight quality starts and should hold onto his rotation spot even with Felix Hernandez (shoulder) and James Paxton (pectoral) returning this week. He lines up for a road matchup against Houston his next time out.

Ramirez allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five batters through six innings during Monday's loss to Houston. He didn't factor into the decision.

EDGE Analysis

Ramirez entered Monday's outing with a solid 3.62 ERA and 1.14 WHIP through six starts with the Mariners, and holding the Astros to just two runs checks out as another strong showing. Seattle is pushing for a postseason berth, so with Ramirez's current form in mind, he should remain in the starting rotation regardless of which Mariner starters are able to return from the disabled list. He's a serviceable fantasy option to utilize in the right matchups moving forward. Ramriez lines up to face the Angels at Safeco Field in his next start.

Ramirez (5-5) allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Orioles. He also struck out seven and hit a batter.

EDGE Analysis

For the second consecutive start, Ramirez had the misfortune of providing a strong six innings yet walking away without a win. Ramirez has recovered nicely after getting his current Mariners stint off to a rocky start (eight runs on 13 hits over 8.1 innings in his first two appearances), generating four straight quality starts and allowing just a pair of home runs in the 24 innings encompassing that stretch. He'll look to get back in the win column against the Astros early next week.

Ramirez allowed three runs on six hits and three walks over six innings Wednesday while striking out six but didn't factor into the decision in a 9-6 win over the Braves.

EDGE Analysis

He left the game nursing a 4-3 lead, but neither bullpen was particularly effective, denying Ramirez his sixth win of the year. He's now given the Mariners three straight quality starts, and his 3.76 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB in 26.1 innings since coming over from the Rays have helped stabilize an injury-plagued rotation. His next outing will come Tuesday in Baltimore.

Ramirez (5-4) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four across six innings to earn the win Friday against the Rays.

EDGE Analysis

Ramirez was staked to a three-run lead in the first inning, and easily coasted to his fifth win of the season. After struggling in his first two outings with the Mariners, he's now held opponents to just one earned run over his last 12 innings to lower his ERA from 5.10 to 4.52. His 1.15 WHIP seems to indicate that he easily could have a strong finish to the season. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Braves.

Ramirez gave up one unearned run on three hits and one walk while striking out one in six innings Saturday against the Angels. He did not factor in the decision.

EDGE Analysis

If you needed help with your ratios, Ramirez delivered in this one, but if you were looking for strikeouts or a win, you essentially left empty handed. He has proven to be a subpar contributor in strikeouts, but in the right matchup, he could prove serviceable in deeper mixed leagues down the stretch. His next start figures to be next weekend in Tampa Bay.

Ramirez allowed five earned runs on eight hits through five innings in a 9-1 loss to the Royals on Sunday. He didn't issue a walk, but also only struck out two.

EDGE Analysis

Ramirez had a tough time missing bats in the second game of a doubleheader, serving up three home runs in his second start with Seattle. He's now 4-4 on the season across 10 starts with a pedestrian 5.10 ERA in 77.2 innings, and will need to be better if he wants to hold down a spot in the Mariners' rotation down the stretch.
