Gordon went 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored Thursday against the Yankees. With Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt going 0-for-4 on Thursday, Gordon's .356 is now just a single point off the pace for the highest batting average in baseball. Unfortunately, Gordon's other stats haven't lived up to his average and steals -- you don't expect any power from him, but Gordon has scored only 36 runs despite having been on base 109 times this year. That's a very modest pace for a speedster who's getting on base so often.

Gordon collected three hits, scored twice and drove home a run in the Tuesday's rout of the Yankees. Gordon has seen his average dip 68 points over the past month but is still batting .357/.379/.420 on the year with 35 runs scored and 22 steals over 62 games. He's currently working a five game hit streak and is 8-for-22 with a couple of steals over that span. The average will continue to regress closer to the .289 that he posted last season, but Gordon remains one of the most reliable speed assets in the game.

Gordon is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rockies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. Gordon will receive just his fourth day off of the season Thursday following a rough 1-for-14 stretch at the plate in the last three contests. Donovan Solano will enter the lineup at second base, bating eighth, while Adeiny Hechavarria will take Gordon's spot atop the order.

Gordon went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 3-2 triumph over the Rockies. Gordon was nabbed on a steal attempt for the eighth time in 28 attempts, but that rather poor efficiency rate won't deter manager Dan Jennings from giving the blazing leadoff man the green light any time he reaches base. A .433 BABIP is still rather high even for a speed-oriented player like Gordon (whose career mark is .344), so expect his .372 batting average to fall quite steadily from here. That being said, Gordon should continue to deliver above-average production in that category the rest of the way, and after combining that with his contributions in the run-scoring and stolen-base departments, there's little doubt he's a top-tier fantasy option in the middle infield.

Gordon went 1-for-4 with a run scored and stole his 18th base of the year during Monday's loss to the Pirates. Gordon is batting just .182 over his last 10 games but has swiped six bags over that span, showing us that even when he struggles at the dish, he's still provides elite speed. Impressively, he's been caught stealing just once so far in the month of May after being gunned down six times in April. Gordon's numbers have predictably dipped following his furious start, but he still holds a .373/.404/.449 slash line through 43 games.

Gordon was 2-for-5 with a run scored and four stolen bases in a losing effort against the Orioles on Friday night. Miami broke out on top and Gordon ran wild, swiping three bases off of Ubaldo Jimenez and Caleb Joseph in the first four innings. He now has a sparkling .386 average and 16 steals, but too many of his games turn out like this one, with only one run scored. That should improve when the Miami bats begin to heat up.

Gordon went 4-for-5 with two runs Wednesday against the Dodgers. After going 0-for-4 in back to back games against the Dodgers, Gordon had four hits to bring his season average to .426. Gordon, who was traded from the Dodgers to the Marlins in December, had two doubles and scored twice for his first hits and runs against the team that drafted him in the fourth round in 2008.

Gordon returned to the lineup after a two-game absence on Sunday and went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles against the Giants. The 27-year-old's leg problem appears to be a thing of the past, and he picked up right where he left off with two more hits on Sunday. Gordon is now batting an absurd .439 with a .999 OPS through 32 games and will continue to provide exceptional fantasy value if he continues to get on base, given his prowess for swiping bags.

Gordon (leg) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Giants, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports. Gordon missed back-to-back games with a minor leg ailment, but will return to the keystone and bat leadoff Sunday afternoon. The speedy infielder has carried over his scorching hot start into May, collecting 14 hits in six games this month. He owns an immaculate .437/.461/.521 slash line on the year.

Gordon (leg) is expected to be back in the lineup Sunday, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports. He has missed the last two games with a leg injury, but it sounds like owners have a good chance of getting him back for the series finale against the Giants. Make sure to check back on his status prior to Sunday's game.
