Gonzalez is not in the lineup Thursday against the Giants, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports Rocky Mountain reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gonzalez, who is in the midst of an 0-for-24 stretch over his last seven games, will get his second straight scheduled day off as he clears his head. Raimel Tapia will again start in right field for Gonzalez, who will look to turn things around over the weekend.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Pirates, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gonzalez hasn't collected a hit in his past 24 at-bats, so he'll head to the bench for a night off. Raimel Tapia will man right field in his place, and could do so more frequently if CarGo is unable to escape his season-long slump that's seen his batting average drop to a career-low .215 mark.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gonzalez receives a normal day off after starting the past four games, with Raimel Tapia earning the start in right. After going 0-for-4 against Chicago on Friday, Gonzalez finds himself in the midst of a three-game hitless streak, and currently holding a batting average of just .227 which is the worst in his 10-year major-league career.

Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer, two walks and four runs against the Indians on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Ah, there he is. CarGo was mired in a major slump over his last 10 games -- .147/.250/.206 -- so this was huge for him and his fantasy owners. It's been essentially a career-worst season for the veteran slugger, who's had trouble making hard contact at his typical rate, but it's hard to imagine his BABIP lingering at its current .279 when his career mark is .333. He's also drawing walks at a career-best pace and striking out at a career-best pace, so it seems like it ought to be just a matter of time before his numbers start normalizing.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports Rocky Mountain reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gonzalez will receive a scheduled day of rest against Jarred Cosart and the Padres. The veteran outfielder has yet to find his footing at the plate this season and is hitting just .234 with four homers and 17 RBI through the first two months of the season. Gerardo Parra will draw the start in right field Sunday.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports Rocky Mountain reports.

EDGE Analysis

After making nine straight starts, Gonzalez will head to the bench instead of facing Lance Lynn and the Cardinals. While the veteran enjoys a rare off day, manager Bud Black will use a lefty-heavy lineup featuring Gerardo Parra in right field. Look for Gonzalez to be back in action when the Rockies begin a two-game set with the Mariners on Monday.

Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer in Wednesday's road win over the Phillies.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a slow start to the season for the veteran slugger, but keep in mind that he's only had 65 at-bats in the friendly confines of Coors Field; his numbers are bound to improve with more action in Colorado, where the Rockies will return Friday for a series against St. Louis. CarGo has also been hot lately, as his past 13 games have seen him put up a .392/.458/.608 batting line with a pair of homers, nine RBI and 11 runs. Most of that production has come on the road.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks during Sunday's win over Cincinnati.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a discouraging start for the 31-year-old veteran. Gonzalez sports a .221/.300/.342 slash line with just three home runs, 13 RBI and 19 runs, which is a significant drop from the numbers the fantasy stalwart has produced in the past. Coors Field should help him climb out of his year-long funk, but it also isn't out of the question that Gonzalez is past his prime. He's had a lot of wear and tear on his body with numerous stints on the disabled list over the years, too.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with three RBI from a two-run double and run-scoring single in Thursday's 10-7 win over the Dodgers. He also walked and scored once.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran slugger is still just below the Mendoza Line at .198, but he's now just two RBI short of matching the modest six he generated all of April. Thursday's effort represented his first multi-hit game since April 28 and his two-bagger was his first extra-base hit since that contest as well. Gonzalez hasn't seen a concerning rise in strikeout rate or dip in contact rate, but his .244 BABIP is notably over 100 points lower than last season's .347 figure.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cubs, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gonzalez is 6-for-14 lifetime against Cubs Game 2 starter John Lackey, but it seems manager Bud Black doesn't want to push his luck with Gonzalez's health. The 31-year-old Gonzalez did, after all, miss a couple starts last week with right calf tightness. Gerardo Parra will start in right field.
