Posey went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI during Monday's win over Colorado.

EDGE Analysis

Considering he's currently sporting a career-high .960 OPS and leading the majors in batting average, Posey's 33 RBI and 32 runs are falling a little below expectations. The Giants have scored the fourth-fewest runs in baseball, though, and it's taken a toll on Posey's stat line. He's still a top-tier backstop option in fantasy.

Posey went 0-for-3 Sunday against the Mets, but drove in two runs.

EDGE Analysis

Posey's two RBI could have been more, since his sacrifice fly in the third inning could have been extra bases if not for a properly positioned Jay Bruce in right field. Additionally, he hit a weak groundball with the bases loaded to push one run in during the eighth, but a knock there would have likely sent two home. On a team that has lost 12 of their last 13, Posey serves as one of the Giants' few bright spots and is hitting .340 in 271 plate appearances this season.

Posey went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, three RBI and a pair of runs scored in Thursday's 12-11 loss to the Braves.

EDGE Analysis

The All-Star catcher looked more like himself after falling into a 3-for-20 slump following a minor ankle injury. Despite the Giants struggling as a whole, Posey is putting up numbers that we haven't seen since his MVP season in 2012. The 30-year-old has always been a great contact hitting catcher, but he has been providing more power this season with a .537 slugging percentage and .194 isolated power rating (highest marks since 2012).

Posey (ankle) went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in his return to the lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

EDGE Analysis

After sitting out Friday with swelling in his ankle, Posey drew back into the cleanup spot Saturday and collected his 19th hit of the month. Although he was unable to factor into the scoring, it was a sigh of relief for Posey owners everywhere that he was able to play a full game Saturday considering the amount of pain he looked to be in when he limped off the field Thursday. Look for Posey to remain in the lineup for Sunday's series finale at Coors Field when the Giants face right-hander Tyler Chatwood.

Posey (ankle) is back in the lineup, batting cleanup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.

EDGE Analysis

He'll take over at first base in place of Brandon Belt in his first game back since suffering an ankle injury in the Giants' series opener in Colorado. Posey has been on fire in June, slashing .383/.423/.596 with two home runs, and he'll look to continue that trend Saturday at Coors Field.

Posey (ankle) will not start Friday against the Rockies but is expected to be available off the bench, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

EDGE Analysis

Posey left Thursday's game with a sore ankle, but the issue doesn't appear to be anything serious. "I'm really happy with the way I feel," Posey told reporters Friday. All signs point to the catcher returning to the lineup Saturday.

Posey's ankle injury isn't considered to be serious but he is expected to miss the next two games, Andrew Bagarly of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

EDGE Analysis

This comes as a relief after Posey left the field looking to be in considerable pain after hitting a home run against the Rockies. He's currently dealing with some swelling in his ankle, which will likely keep him out until at least Sunday, but the club is optimistic that Posey is not facing an extended absence. Look for Nick Hundley to start in Posey's place behind the plate for the next couple of games out in Colorado.

Posey left Thursday's game with ankle soreness, Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

EDGE Analysis

The Giants lost both Posey and Eduardo Nunez in the same inning of Thursday's game against the Rockies. Posey slugged a home run on the play he was injured and he limped around the bases before heading directly to clubhouse with the Giants' training staff. There's still no word on the severity of Posey's injury, but Nick Hundley figures to start at catcher if Posey is to miss additional time beyond Thursday.

Posey has exited Thursday's game against the Rockies with an undisclosed injury, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

EDGE Analysis

The star catcher was in clear discomfort rounding the bases after clubbing a home run to left field to cut into the Giants' deficit. He limped back to the dugout and went straight back to the clubhouse with the training staff. It remains unclear what is bothering Posey, but his status heading into Friday is questionable at best. If Posey is given the day off, Nick Hundley would draw in behind the plate for the Giants.

Posey went 3-for-4 with four RBI Sunday against the Twins.

EDGE Analysis

It was a season-high in RBI in one game for Posey, who now has 10 RBI in his last seven games. Posey has been a high-caliber player on a rather subpar team, and while his home run (eight) and RBI (23) totals seem a little low, his slash line of .347/.437/.521 is a thing of beauty.
