Allen Craig broke out of his slump by going 2-for-5 with a two-run double Thursday against the Pirates. Craig did pick up a single yesterday, but he entered tonight 1-for-27 in his last eight games. The runs batted in tonight were his first since July 23.

Allen Craig went hitless in a fifth straight game Monday against the Pirates. Even after the 0-for-17, Craig is still hitting a robust .322 on the season. However, his power has been missing lately, too; he hasn't homered since July 4 against the Angels.

Allen Craig went 2-for-3 with two RBI against the Phillies on Tuesday. Craig and his teammate Yadier Molina now have identical .335 averages to lead the National League, and Craig now has 79 RBI on the year. He's been strangely power-deficient, hitting just 10 home runs in 364 at-bats thus far, but Craig has otherwise been one of the most productive hitters in either league this season.

Allen Craig went 1-for-4 with an RBI in a win Friday against the Cubs. Craig has reached safely in every game since June 29. "The Wrench" is third in the National League with a .328 batting average and second in the NL with 72 RBI. He's on pace for 18 homers and 128 RBI.

Allen Craig went 4-for-5 with a homer and three RBI as the Cardinals beat the Astros 13-5 on Tuesday. The Cardinals now have a +114 run differential -- by far the best mark in the major leagues. Craig singled in the second, fourth and sixth innings, then launched a two-run bomb deep into the Houston sky in the top of the eighth. "The Wrench" has gone deep only seven times this season but he is on pace for a whopping 128 RBI.

Allen Craig was 2-for-4 with a two-run double in Friday's loss to the Rangers. Craig continues to be an RBI machine as the Cardinals' primary cleanup hitter. "Wrench" has driven in 18 runs in 17 games this month and is currently tied with Colorado's Carlos Gonzalez for third in the National League with 57 RBI. It would be nice to see a bit more power, though he has all six of his home runs over his last 44 games.

Allen Craig went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a run scored Friday in a loss to the Marlins. It was his third multi-hit game in his last four. Craig now has 50 RBI through 64 games, which puts him on pace for 121 for the year. Even better, he has begun to show more power in recent weeks.

Allen Craig singled and belted a three-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Mets. Craig made an awkward catch in right field in the third where he stumbled and hit his neck on the fence. However, he singled and homered in his next two at-bats, so it appears that he's fine. "Wrench" has a disappointing five longballs so far, but he's made up for it with a .313 average and 47 RBI.

Allen Craig went 3-for-3 with a sacrifice fly in a win over the Rockies on Saturday. Craig has pulled his batting average up from .263 to .302 over the past 10 games. The power hasn't been there so far, as he has only two homers in 33 games, but we still see him as a top-12 first baseman in mixed fantasy leagues.
