Alexi Ogando Called Up to Join the Indians rotoballer.com Fri 5/4/18 12:07 PM

The Cleveland Indians called up relief pitcher Alexi Ogando from Triple-A Columbus on Friday. Ogando signed a minor league contract with Cleveland in December and posted strong numbers in Triple-A, earning his promotion. In 18 2/3 innings across four Triple-A starts, Ogando posted a 2.89 ERA with a 14:6 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Even though he was starting in the minors, Ogando will likely work in middle and long relief at the big league level. He won't have much fantasy value in that role.
