Verdugo, 20, is slashing .369/.425/.492 with six RBI and two steals through 18 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
EDGE Analysis
Verdugo's approach at the dish is extremely advanced for his age, as he has tallied almost as many walks (7) as strikeouts (8) early on in 2017. Though he still has room to fill out, he may never be a power prospect. Nevertheless, he has the ability to register double-digits in home runs as well as stolen bases, and his dexterity with the bat gives him an excellent chance to be a .300 hitter.

Verdugo was optioned to minor league spring training Tuesday, The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 20-year-old was expected to start the year in the minors, so the move was just a procedural one. The promising outfielder batted .296 (8-for-27) between spring training and the World Baseball Classic. Verdugo is still a year or two away from sniffing the majors, but he remains one of the Dodgers' better prospects.

Verdugo has been promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma City for the Pacific Coast League finals, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
The final numbers for Verdugo at Double-A Tulsa don't really jump off the page, but when put in the proper context -- he was significantly better than league average across the board as the youngest player in the Texas League -- they're quite impressive. He will get a taste of Triple-A ball before the season ends as he prepares to open 2017 with the Dodgers' top minor league affiliate, as the top position player prospect in the system.

Verdugo, 20, has just six hits in his last 10 games with Double-A Tulsa and is hitting .171 over that stretch.
EDGE Analysis
The youngest player in the Texas League, Verdugo's .274/.336/.413 slash line is still awfully impressive, given his age. He may not be able to match the power potential of teammates Cody Bellinger, Willie Calhoun and Edwin Rios, but Verdugo has the best hit tool and the highest floor on the Drillers' roster.

Verdugo, 20, is batting .290/.352/.434 with nine home runs, 44 RBI and two steals through 77 games for Double-A Tulsa.
EDGE Analysis
One of the younger players at this level, Verdugo has more than held his own, showing an ability to make contact along with some pop. His inability to steal bases this season is a tad curious, though he does have double-digit steal potential. Verdugo has a nice all-around game, and he will not turn 21 years of age until 2017.

Verdugo has been activated from the 7-day DL after missing the minimum seven days with a minor hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis
Verdugo returned Sunday to go 0-for-3 with a walk. Arguably the organization's #1 position prospect, Verdugo is batting .282/.342/.448 for Double-A Tulsa after having just turned 20 on May 15.

Verdugo has been placed on the 7-day DL with Double-A Tulsa due to a hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers' top hitting prospect was slashing .287/.344/.456 with seven home runs in 171 at-bats, which is impressive on the surface. It becomes even more noteworthy, however, when factoring in that he turned 20 on May 15, and is doing this against pitchers who are on average almost four years older than he is. The one negative on Verdugo's season to date is his 2-for-7 success rate on stolen-base attempts. Look for him to return in a few weeks, and if he picks up where he left off, Verdugo has a chance to finish the year as a top-20 prospect for dynasty leagues.

Verdugo, 20, is batting .400 with two home runs, five RBI and one steal over the last 10 games for Double-A Tulsa.
EDGE Analysis
The recent hot streak pushes Verdugo's slash line to .297/.347/.477. He also has seven home runs and 25 RBI in 41 games. It is important to note that Verdugo is one of the youngest players at this level; he just turned 20 earlier in May.

Verdugo was 3-for-4 with a pair of homers and seven RBI Monday for Double-A Tulsa.
EDGE Analysis
The huge day lifted Verdugo to .279/.322/.432 with five home runs in 111 at-bats. Considering he hit just nine homers in 512 at-bats last year, the soon-to-be 20 year-old looks to be taking a nice step forward, particularly given the rarity of seeing teenagers hold their own in Double-A. He could make his debut as early as mid-2017.
