Frequently Asked Questions about the AOL/Fleaflicker Transition

Frequently Asked Questions

Whoa, what's happening?

Fleaflicker has been re-acquired by the founder of the company, Ori Schwartz, and it will become part of his new company, Fleaflicker LLC.

Why has AOL chosen to transition Fleaflicker?

While we love Fleaflicker (and our users love Fleaflicker), we wanted to find a home for the product where it can receive more love and attention. We think Fleaflicker LLC is that place.

When will Fleaflicker LLC officially start running Fleaflicker?

July 21, 2011. AOL has arranged with Fleaflicker LLC to enable continued access to your fantasy accounts. Fleaflicker LLC will transfer your data, which includes user accounts, leagues, teams (and some personally identifiable information associated with your account like your E-mail address). Fleaflicker will continue to run in its current form with no interruption in service.

What if I don't wish to transfer my data to Fleaflicker LLC?

Nothing is required of you to continue playing fantasy sports for free on Fleaflicker. However, if you do not want your data to be transferred, you may opt out by clicking here before July 22, 2011. If you do not opt out by this date, Fleaflicker LLC will automatically begin the transition and your account, teams, and leagues will remain intact.

What does Fleaflicker LLC plan to do with Fleaflicker?

Fleaflicker LLC plans to continue the service that users have come to know and love. Fleaflicker will still be 100% free.

Will Fleaflicker LLC maintain the Fleaflicker service with all of its functionality?

Yes, that's the plan. There may be some small cosmetic changes initially but the core service will remain unchanged. In the future, Fleaflicker LLC will continue to add new features and grow the service.
