With the NFL adding more to their own stat collections I thought it would be nice to take advantage of this and add a category for scoring points for tackles for loss in yardage. This would be different than sacks and solo or assisted tackles. It may help aid in boosting the DL scoring since the DL does record a significant amount of backfield tackles in comparison to other IDP positions.
We are still working with our statistics department on it. It is important to us and we hope to have it implemented for this year, but there is no definite answer yet from them.
This is one improvement that the Flea team is trying to get set up for 2014. Don't know if it will happen by then, but it is something that they want added.
