In my league, FFootball 2012, a trade was placed that involved two players for a draft pick. To make room on his roster, the team recieving the players will drop the Dallas TM as part of the transaction. Since Dallas already played, will the trade still go through? I assume it will keep trying until the players unlock on Tuesday as the start of a new week?

Also, if the above is true, could the team drop a different player (to make room on the roster) to have the trade execute sooner?

The team would have to drop a player other than a player who locked and played yesterday to make room; otherwise it will keep getting postponed -- those players on respective teams are locked who played yesterday there.

So lets say he dropped Alex Smith (who is not part of the trade) to make room, the trade will execute sometime today? If so, what happens to the Dallas TM? Does the trade algorithm just disregard the requirement for them to be dropped for the trade to be processed?

1. Yes it will process if he did that

2. The Dallas TM stays on his team as it locks at 3AM on the team it is on

The trade that is in place goes through provided all players are on the same teams still and that no roster violations are maxed out.
