I've suggested my private league move from myfantasyleague to here because this is the only free league that I've seen that can handle our scoring system. But I'm running into problems because I have two sets of league members who are husband and wife and therefore have the same e-mail address. These are not tech savvy people. Is there any way I can make this work without making them get a free e-mail address that they're never going to bother to check in the future?

Welcome to Fleaflicker. If they want two different log-in names, they would have to sign up for two different emails. They can co-own a team. It would just take a few minutes to create any e-mail for them. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to transfer anything over and make it easy on you.
